In honor of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, a Sydney couple who were reportedly killed, family members have extended the search for their remains.
Detectives are now searching a portion of the NSW town of Goulburn in addition to Sydney and Newcastle.
Additionally, several bags of goods have been observed being taken out of Baird’s Paddington house in Sydney’s eastern suburbs by detectives.
Beau Lamarre-Condon, a NSW police constable, was charged on Friday with their killings.
Austin Baird referred to his cousin Jesse as “one in a million” while the outpouring of support for the two persisted.
“You cared about everyone and left such an impact on every person you met,” he stated.
Amid concerns over police procedures, the NSW Police Commissioner made a statement earlier today regarding the “distressing” claimed killings.
“I understand there are many unanswered questions and while I cannot comment on the matter before the courts, I can reassure Luke and Jesse’s loved ones, and the people of NSW, that we are working around the clock to find those answers.” In a statement, Commissioner Karen Webb said.
Baird used to host the morning show Studio Ten on Network Ten.
He officiated AFL goals as well.
Davies was a flight attendant for Qantas and resided in the Waterloo neighborhood.
