In the eastern suburbs of Sydney, a man has fallen to his death from the balcony of an apartment block overlooking the harbour.
The man, who is said to be in his 30s, is reported to have fallen from the Thornton Street building in Darling Point at approximately 9:30 p.m. yesterday.
According to preliminary police enquiries, the fall was unintentional, although authorities are still looking into how it happened.
It’s understood that when the man collapsed, other people were there at the residence.
The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene by police and paramedics.
Emergency responders consoled the folks who were in the apartment at the time.
Detectives have set up a crime scene and are conducting their investigation. There aren’t any suspicious situations at the moment.
