A mother-of-five has passed away, and the Victoria homicide squad is assisting in the investigation of a possible murder-suicide close to Ballarat.
At approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, police discovered the body of 42-year-old Rebecca Young inside a Sebastopol residence next to that of 55-year-old Ian Butler.
Butler was known as the “Sheriff” and was a proud Bandidos biker. The neighbors claim that Butler scared them.
As investigations continued through the night, neighbors took care of two of Young’s children and claimed that she had only moved into the house six months prior.
The neighbors claimed to have overheard Young’s parents crying and fighting at the scene.
The manner of her death and Butler’s, if any, weaponry found inside evidence bags will not be confirmed by the police.
Today, cleaners showed up at the property, which was still being watched by cops.
