In the eastern suburbs of Sydney, a woman was stabbed in the face with a paint scraper, leading to the arrest of a guy.
The 40-year-old lady was allegedly stabbed up to twelve times in the head and upper body following a fight at a Randwick apartment block on Roberts Avenue with a 25-year-old guy.
Until police arrived, onlookers pursued and tackled the man, executing a citizen’s arrest.
The woman’s injuries are not life-threatening, and she was brought to St. Vincent’s hospital.
After being transported to Prince of Wales Hospital, the 25-year-old male is still being watched by police.
According to the police, the woman and the male knew one another.
While police do their investigation, Roberts Avenue is closed in both directions. The public and drivers are urged to stay away from the area.
