Following an alleged police pursuit around Sydney yesterday night, a teenage boy is scheduled to appear in court today.
At 4 p.m. yesterday, when police attempted to pull over the 17-year-old driver’s Toyota C-HR on Syd Einfeld Drive in Bondi Junction, he allegedly did not stop for them.
The adolescent was accused by the police of speeding.
There was supposedly a chase, but it was called off for safety reasons.
A short while later, police were called to Darlinghurst Road in Darlinghurst, where the Toyota was reported to have collided with three other cars.
The adolescent motorist allegedly fled the scene and was apprehended by police on Oxford Street.
Eleven charges have been brought against him, ranging from driving with a suspended licence to handling a weapon in public to police pursuits.
He will now appear in Paramatta Children’s Court today after being denied bail.
