After being charged in connection with an alleged gunshot in Sydney’s west at the end of last year, a lady is scheduled to appear in court today.
The 29-year-old was taken into custody at a Chester Hill flat yesterday and accused with using a weapon, possessing narcotics and other charges related to the November 27 incident of last year.
The incident started when police were called to a residence on Bligh Street, Guildford, at 9:35 p.m. that day in response to allegations of gunfire.
Officers discovered a gunshot wound at a property’s front gate, but no one was hurt.
The woman was taken into custody right away and then released while more investigation was conducted.
She was detained on December 6 of last year during a traffic stop in Bass Hill, and she was accused of two counts of obstructing law enforcement and having an unlicensed handgun.
At Ryde, police took into custody a 30-year-old guy later that day.
He is still pending court proceedings on three gun offences.
The woman is accused with knowing trading in the proceeds of crime, leading a criminal organisation, supplying a prohibited substance, and having an unlicensed handgun.
