Two teenage boys were murdered in a horrific crash in Sydney’s west last week, and a 17-year-old kid has been charged in connection with it.
On January 15, at approximately 9:40 p.m., a Nissan 200SX sedan carrying the three adolescents collided with a power pole on Windsor Road in McGraths Hill.
The two passengers passed away at the site after suffering severe injuries.
After receiving treatment from paramedics for abdominal and chest injuries, the motorist was sent to Westmead Hospital and eventually released.
The Nissan and a Ford Falcon sedan are thought to have clashed just before the car hit the pole, according to the police.
After the collision, the Ford’s driver arrived at the site and dialled 911.
The Nissan’s 17-year-old driver was taken into custody and charged by the police last night.
He faces two counts of reckless driving resulting in death and two counts of dangerous driving resulting in death.
He will now appear in a children’s court today after being denied bail.
