In the CBD of Melbourne, a pedestrian was hit by a car and died as a result.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been released by the police, was murdered about 12.45 a.m. on Queens Road after being hit by a car.
She passed away right there.
The car’s male driver pulled over and is now helping the police with their investigation.
The motorist was unharmed.
Police are requesting that anyone with dashcam footage or who saw the event get in touch with them.
