Regarding a tragic shooting in Greenacre, which authorities stated was a case of mistaken identity, a seventh individual has been brought into custody.
On July 23, Ahmed Al Azzam, 25, was discovered bleeding from a gunshot wound inside a car on Mayvic Street.
The injuries later claimed his life in the hospital.
A 19-year-old woman who has subsequently made a full recovery and a 22-year-old male who had lifelong spinal damage were among the two further casualties discovered in another vehicle.
At 7:30 p.m. yesterday, a 24-year-old male arrived at Sydney Airport from an overseas aircraft and was taken into custody in connection with the shooting incident.
After being brought to the Mascot police station, he was accused of having an outstanding warrant, aiding and abetting a murder, and being a member of a criminal organisation.
Strike Force Magnus is still conducting investigations into the shooting, and six people have been charged.
