In the Greater Hunter district of New South Wales, a kid who had gone missing was discovered dead in a private pool.
Around 3:15 p.m. yesterday, the six-year-old was reported missing from a street in Teralba, near Lake Macquarie.
When police got there, they started searching the area and discovered the youngster unconscious in a neighboring property’s pool.
Despite their best efforts, the officers were unable to save the youngster after they started CPR until paramedics came.
Police think the child is the six-year-old who went missing, even though he hasn’t been officially identified yet.
“Officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident,” according to police.
