In Sydney’s west, a one-year-old daughter lost her life after being struck by a car.
Around 5:20 p.m., there were reports of a crash on Edna Avenue in Toongabbie, prompting the contact of emergency services.
When police arrived on the scene, they discovered that a four-wheel drive had struck the girl.
Although paramedics treated the girl, she passed away there.
Police have set up a crime scene and started their investigation into what happened.
