In the Moreton Bay region of Queensland, a guy was detained by police for acting strangely, and it resulted in his death.
Just before five in the morning, police were summoned to Beachmere in Caboolture, where they reportedly observed a male, 37, acting strangely.
Police took the man into custody and placed him in the back of their vehicle.
“The man continued to act increasingly erratic, prompting officers to then remove the man from the vehicle and provide him medical assistance,” according to police.
After being brought to Caboolture Hospital, he passed away.
“The State Coroner has been advised, and the Ethical Standards Command is investigating,” police stated.
The Crime and Corruption Commission will independently supervise the investigation.
