In a remote area of Victoria, a car and truck collided, igniting the automobile and killing one person.
At Lockwood, close to Bendigo, on the Calder Alternative Highway, there was a collision that prompted emergency personnel to attend.
The truck rolled and the automobile caught fire as a result of the collision.
The car’s sole occupant, the driver, who has not yet been officially recognised, passed away at the site. With only minor wounds, the truck driver was sent to the hospital.
