After frantically attempting to save a teenager after a car struck a tree and caught fire in a rural area of New South Wales, singer Shannon Noll has expressed his sympathy.
Following Wednesday night’s crash at Casino, west of Lismore, Noll was among the bystanders who performed CPR on the 18-year-old female passenger.
However, she was not to be spared and perished with the eighteen-year-old driver.
Noll referred to the accident as “a tragedy”.
In a statement, he stated, “I just reacted and did what I could to assist the young woman at the scene.”
“Our prayers and condolences go out to their families at this terribly sad time.”
Investigators are NSW Police from the Richmond police district. Police said they would write a report for the coroner.
