This morning in Queensland, a truck and a bus carrying schoolchildren collided, injuring ten kids and one adult.
Just before the truck crashed into the back of the bus at approximately 9.40 a.m., the bus had been halted on the M1 at Beenleigh.
On a trip to the Gold Coast, 55 pupils and four staff members from Calumvale Community College were on the bus.
Queensland Children’s Hospital received a child who was transported there after Queensland Ambulance determined they had suffered serious injuries to their head and leg.
In all, ten kids were sent to the hospital, and the truck driver was also taken there for care.
Every patient has a steady state. As the police continue to investigate the event, no charges have been filed.
