A man’s fatal shooting on New South Wales’ Mid North Coast earlier this week, a man is scheduled to appear in court today.
Following allegations that a man had been shot, the 43-year-old victim was discovered unconscious outside a house on Batar Creek Road in Kendall at approximately 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
Before paramedics arrived, members of the public performed CPR on the 43-year-old man, but he passed away at the site.
Soon after the incident, according to police claims, a group of males were spotted driving away from the area.
After making inquiries, detectives yesterday afternoon at 4:10 p.m. during a car stop on the Pacific Highway near Nabiac, apprehended a 39-year-old man.
After being brought to the Taree Police Station, he was charged with driving a motor vehicle while disqualified, concealing a major indictable offence, and accessory after the fact to murder.
The man is scheduled to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court today after being denied bail.
