A collision between a car and a truck on Melbourne’s West Gate Motorway, a woman has died and a man is in the hospital.
According to police, at approximately 11.35 a.m., a car and a truck crashed on the freeway’s exit ramp.
The car’s female passenger, who has not yet been officially recognised, passed away at the site.
The car’s male driver was sent to the hospital with very minor wounds.
He’s helping the police with their investigations right now.
The truck driver was not hurt physically in the collision, according to the police.
Long waits were being experienced by traffic on the city’s motorways, and drivers were advised to stay away from the region.
There were detours available and the Kings Way citybound exit was closed.
