After a woman passed away in a house close to Port Augusta, South Australia, a man has been detained and is anticipated to face murder charges.
There were reports of an unconscious woman at a Davenport residence about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, prompting police to be contacted.
The 45-year-old woman was trying to be revived when emergency personnel came, but she passed away right away.
After being taken into custody by authorities, the 53-year-old resident of the house is “expected to be charged with murder”.
According to authorities, “the woman and the man knew each other.”
The man will appear in court today after bail was denied.
