Following a multi-vehicle collision that caused traffic mayhem in northern Sydney this morning, all lanes have reopened.
At approximately 7:50 p.m., a silver Mazda 3 was struck by a vehicle and left on its side in the citybound lanes of the M2, near Delhi Road in Macquarie Park.
The woman was momentarily stuck, according to the police, but she managed to escape.
Before being transported to a hospital, three women received treatment on the spot. After being initially closed, two of the three lanes heading into the city have now reopened.
Given the severe traffic in the area, drivers are still advised to factor in plenty of extra time for their trip.
