In Daylesford, Victoria, a car crashed into a beer garden at a pub, killing five people—two of them children.
A youngster who was fighting for his life in a hospital last night was among the four other injured parties. Just after 6 o’clock in the evening, according to the police, the BMW SUV jumped the kerb and hit several customers at the Royal Hotel on Vincent Street.
In a midnight update, police reported that two males, a woman, and a kid had passed away at the scene.
After being transported by air to a hospital, a young girl passed away. A boy was airlifted to the hospital after suffering severe wounds.
Three other people—a guy, a woman, and a male child—were sent to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The 66-year-old Mount Macedonian driver of the BMW was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing,” police stated.Last night, a plethora of emergency services descended upon the small hamlet situated ninety minutes northwest of Melbourne.
Police tape was used to block off the street in the vicinity of the bar.

“We all turned around and we saw a car rocket-launch and a lot of bodies flying through the air,” she continued.

According to the police, they were searching for anyone with video footage and witnesses. According to Ambulance Victoria, three of the injured were transported by road, while four were transported by air to hospitals.
Three of the patients were flown: one was sent to the Alfred, one to the Royal Children’s Hospital, and two to the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Two are being transported by car to Ballarat Base Hospital and one is being sent to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
