After a shooting in New South Wales earlier this year, a woman has been charged.
At two in the morning on September 21, 2018, a 32-year-old lady and a 42-year-old man were discovered at a house on Cassia Crescent in Lake Macquarie with gunshot wounds.
A 31-year-old male was taken into custody by NSW Police four days later on relevant charges, and he is still being held in court.
A 25-year-old lady was taken into custody at a Bousfield Street residence at 2:30 p.m. on November 1st, after additional inquiries.
She faces charges of shooting a gun with the purpose to cause great bodily harm and intending to murder.
She will appear in Newcastle Local court today after being denied bail.
Paramedics attended to the man and the lady hurt in the reported shooting on the scene, and then they were transported to John Hunter Hospital for further care.
