Last week, a 13-year-old kid died after being struck by a truck as he got off a bus south of Sydney.
Around 3.30 pm on Wednesday, the boy was attended to by emergency personnel at the crossroads of Church Street and Appin Road in Appin.
“The boy was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics on scene before he was taken to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a critical condition,” the NSW Police said in a statement.
Police have been informed that the youngster passed away in a hospital.
“The truck driver, a 38-year-old man, was not injured and underwent mandatory testing at Campbelltown Hospital,” according to police.
