A 36-year-old man who died in a horrific accident last night south of Adelaide has been remembered with affection.
Around 10 o’clock in the evening, Dylan Ramsden was traveling down Victor Harbor Road at Willunga Hill when his vehicle struck the truck. On the spot, he passed away.
From their house, Graham and Jan Flint could hear the crash. Jan Flint stated, “It’s just so sad.
The accident left the truck driver, a 34-year-old Kangaroo Islander, and his single passenger, a three-year-old boy, unharmed.
They were brought to the Flinders Medical Center, where they were monitored.
Ramsden was once regarded as a “valued employee” by his former employer.
Bro, rest in peace. Will be sorely missed. was a pleasure to work with.
Also from friends: “Shine bright up there. The people whose lives you have touched have a huge hole in their hearts because of you. According to locals, the section of road is notoriously hazardous.
“It’s a blind bend and it wouldn’t take much for someone to veer across the road,” Graham Flint stated. Following the collision, Victor Harbor Road was closed to all traffic while Major Crash police investigated the site for many hours. The road has subsequently reopened.
The death brings the total number of fatalities on South Australian roads this year to 90, up from 57 at this time last year.
It happens less than a day after a 23-year-old pedestrian died in Adelaide’s southern suburbs after allegedly being struck by a truck.
