In Sydney’s west, a motorised scooter and a car collided, breaking the legs of two teens.
According to footage from Dash Cam Owners Australia, three adolescents were riding the electric scooter when it collided with a white hatchback, sending them flying roughly fifteen metres.
Two of the sixteen-year-olds had leg fractures as a result of the collision at a Glossop Street crosswalk in St. Marys.
NSW Police said in a statement, “When officers from Nepean Police Area Command arrived, they discovered the Honda scooter had crashed into the back of a Toyota Corolla.”
“The Toyota’s driver was not hurt.”The video shows a second scooter arriving after the incident.
After that, the third teen in the collision leaps onto its back and flees the area.
Not one adolescent was donning a helmet.
There are no charges pending. The police are looking into it.
In New South Wales, there have been other recent instances comparable to this crash.
