After a 12-year-old kid was allegedly stabbed at a Queensland school, a 12-year-old girl has been prosecuted.
A brawl was reported at a school in Caloundra, on the Sunshine Coast, around 10 in the morning.
According to Queensland Police, they discovered the youngster with “a non-life-threatening cut to his abdomen”.
After being brought to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, he was later released.
It will be claimed that two further students were threatened but not hurt physically.
The 12-year-old girl was arrested on the spot.
Police allegedly discovered her with a knife and after she had hacked a wall.
Some parents claimed they didn’t learn about the incident until hours later, and when they tried to reach their kids, they couldn’t since their phones were locked in pouches while the kids were in school.
The event will be handled by the school in accordance with our student code of conduct, as necessary, according to a statement from the principal.

The 12-year-old girl is accused of injuring, using force to instill fear, and having a knife in a public place on one count each.
She was also accused of willful damage on three occasions and two charges of common assault.
She was turned down for police bail and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow in Maroochydore.
