Natasha Fyles, the chief minister of the Northern Territory, allegedly suffered an assault while visiting her neighborhood.
According to reports, Fyles was in Darwin’s Nightcliff Markets about 11.40 a.m. when a bystander—possibly a woman—pushed a cream-covered crepe into his face.Since the incident, Fyles, according has spoken with police.
According to the police, they “are looking into an incident that happened at the Nightcliff Markets around 11.40 this morning.”
The minister has not yet made a remark, but tomorrow he is scheduled to appear in front of the media to discuss another issue.
Fyles frequents the markets frequently and is described by manager Ross Dudgeon as being “approachable and friendly” at all times.
One of the vendors told me they witnessed a woman pour something over Natasha Fyles’ head, Dudgeon recalled.
“Because we celebrated the Bendigo Bank’s 10th anniversary here this morning,”I believe that the incident took place shortly after she left.
She frequently comes out on Sunday mornings with her family to get breakfast or a smoothie.
