After a baby was transported to the hospital in northern Queensland with “significant injuries,” a father has been prosecuted.
On Tuesday, a baby who was seven weeks old was carried with “significant injuries” to Moranbah Hospital in Mackay.
An investigation into the child’s injuries resulted in the arrest of a 23-year-old male yesterday.
He is currently facing one count of causing great bodily damage. He’ll appear in court today.
