A man was discovered dead early this morning on a residential street in Melbourne’s east, and the Homicide Squad detectives are now looking into the incident.
The man, who has not yet been officially identified, was discovered just before 5 a.m. on Tidcombe Crescent in Doncaster East, close to a white Holden vehicle.
The car’s driver’s side and bonnet both received severe damage.
Many locals claim to have heard a tremendous bang late last night.
One local claimed, “Around 11:30 or possibly 11:45ish I heard a huge thump.”
“I have no idea what that was. Some yelling and other things.
As investigators try to piece together what transpired, a section of the street has been blocked off.
