In Sydney’s north-west, burglars took four cars from the same house before smashing one of them into a concrete wall.
About two in the morning on Thursday, they stole two Mercedes, a Kia, and a Volvo from the Kellyville home after stealing the keys while the residents slept.
Manan Tailor claimed that one automobile belonged to his daughter and the other to his nephew.
The fifth car key was also taken because all the keys were already on the desk, according to Tailor.
Three of the robbers are shown on camera leaving each with a car.
Police allegedly called Tailor and inquired as to whether he was in the vehicle.
He claimed, “I was astonished and responded, ‘My car is in the driveway.
“They yelled, ‘Go and check, is it still in your driveway or is it stolen?'”
“So I checked, and I’m sure it’s stolen,” she continued.
Later that day, on Windsor Road near Barina Downs Road in Norwest, the Mercedes AMG crossed multiple lanes of traffic before crashing through a reinforced concrete wall.
The driver is thought to have fled the scene through the sunroof after the vehicle was left a mangled mess.
Due to the geo-tracking technology installed in the other three cars, police have also managed to locate them.
