A mother from western Sydney single-handedly prevented a house fire from spreading to her family.
Just before 4am, an electrical malfunction caused her children’s bedroom to catch fire, causing the mother of four to awaken and escape the six occupants of the Casula residence.
The room included three sleeping kids at the moment.
Authorities think the fire was started by a malfunctioning heater.
Sandy Al-Qhameesi is just thankful that no one was hurt despite the fact that the interior of the house was entirely ruined.
If we cry or grin, she continued, “[the home] is gone, it has happened, and we have to be optimistic in order to move forward.”
For ten years, Al-Qhameesi and her husband resided there with their four children and one grandfather.
