In Queensland, a 29-year-old man was shot by police and murdered as a result.
Just before 5.30 o’clock in the evening, officers were carrying out a search warrant at a residence on Margaret Street in Burpengary East, Moreton Bay.
The man was shot, according to Detective Superintendent Ben Fadian, after he allegedly threatened police.
Police arrived at this home and found a 29-year-old guy, Fadian said.
Because this individual argued with the cops, they fired their weapons.
The man received immediate first assistance and CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The address has been designated as a crime scene, and police inquiries are ongoing.
Ethical Standards Command is looking into this situation for the State Coroner.
