Following an alleged assault on Friday night at a restaurant in Queensland, two people have been charged.
According to police, the pair allegedly broke into a Redcliffe establishment and damaged a number of things during an incident with numerous diners.
A 40-year-old guy was brought to the hospital in stable condition with minor head injuries.
The two fled the area on foot in the direction of Anzac Avenue before being apprehended by police a short while later.
A Newport man, 25, was charged with one count of assault resulting in serious bodily harm while carrying a weapon and one count of causing a public disturbance.
A 24-year-old Burpengary man was accused of committing one count of public annoyance.
On August 21, both men are scheduled to appear in Redcliffe Magistrates Court.
