A youngster was killed yesterday in Sydney’s north after being hit by a car.
At 1.25 pm on Sunday, emergency personnel arrived at the scene of a collision on Anzac Avenue in Collaroy, on the Northern Beaches, where a five-year-old kid had suffered serious injuries.
He was sent to Sydney Children’s Hospital right away, but despite their best efforts, he passed away that night as a result of his wounds.
Police have set up a crime scene while they investigate what caused the collision.
The 77-year-old car’s driver was brought to Northern Beaches Hospital for evaluation.
At this time, no one has been taken into custody.
