During an aggravated burglary in Melbourne’s north yesterday night, a man was shot.
About 9.45 p.m., according to police, three guys broke into a home on Amarina Court in Meadow Heights.
The only resident at home at the time got into a fight with the burglars, according to the police.
A 26-year-old male was shot and was rushed to the hospital where he is still being treated for significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
Another incident involving gunfire at a Glenroy home on View Street shortly after 2:30 in the morning is also being looked into by police.
Upon arrival, three guys were discovered to be injured, according to authorities.
Three men, ages 22, 45, and 23, were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
A fourth man, a 43-year-old man, also self-presented to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot.
