After allegedly stabbing another guy in Sydney’s inner west, a man has been charged with murder.
Around 7 o’clock on Friday night, police were summoned to a unit complex on Forbes Street in Newtown, where they discovered the victim suffering from several stab wounds.
Despite receiving medical attention, the 63-year-old man passed away at the site.
A 43-year-old guy was detained by police yesterday at a condominium complex on nearby Golden Grove Street.
He was brought to the Newtown Police Station, where he was accused of murder and of using a firearm to evade legal capture.
Despite being denied bail, the individual is now being evaluated at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
His court date has not yet been set.
