Following the death of a man in Melbourne, two individuals have been accused of murder.
A 35-year-old Seaford male and a 36-year-old Chadstone woman were both detained on Friday in Carrum Downs and Seaford, respectively.
Police stated early on Saturday morning that the two were questioned before being charged with one count of murder each.
According to police, the event is said to have taken place inside a house on Chadstone’s Binalong Avenue when a fire broke out on July 18.
The 40-year-old male was the subject of a thorough search as part of the inquiry.
On Railway Parade in Chadstone yesterday, a body of a guy whose identity has not yet been officially confirmed was discovered.
The investigation is still underway, according to police, who stated that they suspected the persons involved knew one another.
