A Melbourne father who was transported back to Australia after having a brain hemorrhage while traveling to Bali has passed away, according to his family.
Respected business consultant Rajiv Jayarajah fainted on the vacation island on June 30 and required urgent brain surgery.
In his villa in Nusa Dua, the 43-year-old experienced a seizure and fell, hurting his head.
According to a statement from his family, Jayarajah passed away yesterday while being attended to by loved ones.
The Alfred Intensive Care Unit staff examined Raj after he returned to Melbourne via air ambulance and told his family that there was nothing that could be done to rescue him, according to a statement.
