Following a fatal machete assault outside a 7-Eleven petrol store in Perth’s northern suburbs, a man has been charged with murder.
On Thursday, an unconscious guy was discovered in the 7-Eleven in Landsdale, and emergency services were dispatched.
A third man allegedly came over and whacked a 20-year-old with a machete after two males allegedly engaged in a physical dispute outside the petrol station.
CCTV showed a black car pulling up to the petrol station, a man getting out and then the car sped off after 80 seconds.
There had been a serious incident, and there was blood all over the parking lot, a witness stated as they passed a 7-Eleven.
The victim was revived by onlookers, but he passed away at the spot.
He was being violently worked on while in the sliding glass doorway, according to the witness.
“His legs were covered in blood, we thought he’d run through the door, the door had smashed.”
A 28-year-old male was charged with one count of murder by the police.
Later on today, he’ll appear in court.
