A 16-year-old kid was killed on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast after being struck by a car.
The kid was struck Friday night at 11:50 p.m. while walking along Image Flat Road in Nambour.
According to authorities, the 24-year-old female driver of the vehicle was unharmed.
At the scene of the teen’s death, there are flowers and a rugby league ball covered in notes, one of which is from his mother.
I’m really happy for you. As large as your grin is your heart. Love you always. Mother,” it said.
The kid was taken by ambulance to the nearby Nambour Hospital but was unable to be saved.
The Queensland Police are seeking eyewitnesses and security footage.
