A lady has been charged for her suspected involvement in a crash in the NSW Riverina region that claimed the lives of a woman and three young boys.
Just after 11 p.m. on April 4, according to NSW Police, a householder on Cudgel Street in Yanco, close to Griffith, was threatened after their door was kicked in.
About 15 minutes later, a car traveling down Research Road off the road and crashed, according to a statement from NSW Police.
“A 36-year-old woman and three boys, ages 10, 11, and 12, who were in the car, all died at the scene.”
A 32-year-old male is currently in court after being charged.
Police reported that a 50-year-old lady was detained yesterday about 1pm at Griffith Police Station.
“She was charged with predatory driving, failing to disclose the identity of the driver or passenger as required, and impeding the investigation of another person committing a serious indictable offense.”
The woman was denied bail and is scheduled to show up in local court in Wagga Wagga today.
