Police in Perth have revealed that a teenager has passed away after suffering injuries in a working incident.
The 16-year-old is thought to have suffered serious injuries this morning shortly after 8am at a workplace in Welshpool.
The youngster was taken by ambulance to the hospital, but he passed very soon after.
The incident is the subject of an inquiry by WorkSafe – Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.
A police report will be made for the coroner.
The cause of death is not being investigated further.
