After allegedly murdering his father with a knife south of Brisbane, a man has been charged with the crime.
Shortly after the 67-year-old’s death was discovered in the garden with stab wounds this morning about 1am, the 30-year-old was taken into custody at a Marsden residence in the city of Logan.
The 60-year-old woman was at home, unharmed.
The man was accused of killing a domestic abuse victim.
If there are any more complaints of domestic violence involving the two males, police will look into them.
Police have formed a crime scene, and they are still gathering evidence inside the house.
Later today, the man will appear before Beenleigh Magistrates Court.
