Early this morning, a pedestrian was struck by a car and killed in Sydney’s upper north.
At the intersection of Wandella Avenue and Boundary Street in Roseville, the event happened just before seven in the morning.
After receiving significant injuries, the woman in her 70s was treated by paramedics but passed away at the spot.
According to NSW Police, the Mitsubishi wagon’s driver, a male in his 50s, was brought to the hospital for required tests.
Police have constructed a crime scene.
Between Ferncourt Avenue and Archer Street, Boundary Road in Roseville is still off-limits to motorists.
