Overnight, a head-on collision in Birnam, close to Beaudesert in Queensland’s Scenic Rim, claimed the lives of two teens.
At the moment, both were the only occupants and drivers of their cars.
According to police, at around 6.15 p.m., a sedan driven by a 17-year-old boy from Palen Creek and a ute driven by a 17-year-old boy from Ormeau crashed head-on along Beaudesert Beenleigh Road at Birnam.
Both passed away from their wounds on the spot.
