After discovering a dead 34-year-old lady inside a flat in Sydney’s west, police have charged a 28-year-old male with various domestic violence offenses.
Just before midnight on Friday, an anonymous phone call reporting a domestic disturbance sent officers to a complex of apartments in Liverpool.
However, after arriving at the scene about 3am, police were unable to determine which unit to search, so they left the structure and continued their hunt for the call’s origin all day Saturday.
Police were once more called to the same apartment complex on Norfolk Street at 8 o’clock, but this time they discovered the woman’s body inside.
Police detained the man at the apartment and filed charges against him for violating AVO restrictions and prohibitions as well as for destroying or damaging property.
He was supposed to appear in Parramatta Local Court today but was denied bail.
