After a deadly collision on Saturday afternoon in Shepparton East, around 190 kilometers northeast of Melbourne, a man from Victoria passed away.
Around 4:50 pm, a local driver, 52, lost control of his truck on Channel Road and slammed into a power pole.
The man and his passenger were both evacuated to the hospital with critical injuries by emergency personnel.
At the hospital, the traveler passed away.
Beckham Road and Coach Road were closed as Victoria Police looked into the crash’s causes.
This is the second terrible incident to occur close to Shepparton this week; on Thursday morning, a man was killed in a different crash around 40 kilometers to the west of the town.
When a van and a car crashed on Girgarre Road, a 19-year-old Queensland man was killed, and a woman in her 20s was brought to the hospital with abrasions.
