When Mawn Lyhym learned that the 16-year-old had passed away, he was excited to take his brother to watch the newest Fast & Furious movie at the theater after work.
Pasawm Lyhym, a student in his eleventh year at Staughton College, was stabbed in the neck yesterday just before 3.45 p.m. as other schoolchildren and commuters were nearby.
Despite the efforts of the paramedics, the youngster from Melton South passed away on the street. A 16-year-old Sunshine North lad was also found with minor injuries after the event and had to be hospitalized.
Many teens were reportedly observed running and screaming at the time of the attack, and some were reportedly carrying weapons, according to local workers.
CCTV footage from the area shows a man rushing with a big knife while wearing a black hoodie.
The stabbing has not resulted in any arrests.
Mawn, Pasawm’s older brother, informed the reporters that when his sister called to notify him that his brother had been stabbed, he was at work.
Mawn attempted to contact, FaceTime, and text his brother without success.
Mawn, who was quite upset, claimed he didn’t know why his younger brother, who had “never been in trouble” and was the youngest of four siblings, was attacked.
He said, “He was a good man.

Pasawm enjoyed music, dancing, karate, sports, and making Mawn laugh, according to Mawn, who also added that he had aspirations of becoming a carpenter.
Pasawm missed school yesterday because he was completing VCAL, according to him.
Mawn stated that he desired for the assassin of his brother to visit and express his regret to him and his family.
He declared, “No one deserves to pass away like this.
