Mr. Biden will join Prime Ministers Anthony Albanese, Narendra Modi of India, and Kishida Fumio of Japan.
On May 24, the historic summit will take place at the Sydney Opera House.
Mr. Biden will visit Australia for the first time in his capacity as US president.
The Indo-Pacific region’s stability, resiliency, and prosperity are the goals of the diplomatic alliance known as the Quad.

Chris Minns, the premier of New South Wales, hailed the news and emphasized how important the cooperation is to the state’s economy.
During the visit of the world leaders, Mr. Minns claimed NSW authorities were coordinating with the Commonwealth to minimize any inconvenience for Sydneysiders.
As the US vice president, Mr. Biden last traveled to Sydney in 2016. While there, he met with Mike Baird, the premier of New South Wales, and former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull.
The Quad Leaders Summit will take place again next month, this time in person.
The most recent face-to-face meeting was held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, last year, just hours after Mr. Albanese took the oath of office.
The leaders expressed their strong support for conflict resolution “without resorting to threat or use of force, any unilateral attempt to change the status quo” in a joint statement.
In order to maintain peace and prosperity in the region, the leaders declared that their nations upheld democratic principles, territorial integrity, and freedom of navigation.
“We reaffirm our resolve to uphold the international rules-based order where countries are free from all forms of military, economic, and political coercion,” said the statement.
Mr. Biden served as a virtual host of the first leaders’ conference in 2021.
Each year, leaders will convene, as planned.
