Jim Chalmers, the Treasurer, must to “start taking some responsibility,” according to Liberal MP Michael Sukkar, for the way he handles the federal budget.
This is the Treasurer’s second budget, and he needs to start taking responsibility, he said, calling his performance “woeful.”
“He can only benefit from the robust economy that the Coalition gave the government for such a prolonged period of time.
If he wants to eliminate the lower middle class tax offset, “he actually has to start taking some responsibility, get out there and explain it.”
