The Central Park Mall in Sydney’s CBD houses the Fortress e-gaming center, which has more than 2000 square meters and can accommodate more than 1000 players simultaneously.
400,000 people are expected to visit the enormous gaming complex in its first year.
Fortress CEO and co-founder Jon Satterley said, “We have poured our souls into every detail to create a venue that is nothing short of magnificent, and we can’t wait to welcome our clients into the space.
The facility will give players the opportunity to play popular games like Fortnite in a public setting with their friends and other online players.
With more than 8.6 million Australian homes participating in the online gaming scene in some capacity, the country’s gaming business generated over $4.17 billion in revenue in 2022 alone.
Fortress provides both professional and casual players with a variety of features, including a unique e-sports arena for international contests.
The center offers a variety of classic arcade games to play, and it also caters to an older clientele.
The opening of Fortress is the first of several upcoming modifications to the Central Park Mall, including the addition of new eateries, cafes, pop-up shops, and art exhibits.
